Gemini Season is here! Hooray Hooray (twice for the twins)
Fasten your seat belts - Gemini season kicks off May 20th and with it comes a Lunar Eclipse during a super full moon, Solar Eclipse and Mercury in Retrograde. As the 3rd sign of the zodiac, Gemini (an air sign) is represented by the Twins and along with Libra and Aquarius is considered to be one of the most cerebral signs in astrology. Geminis are curious, creative, intelligent, great communicators and sharp-witted with a tendency to do everything at lightning speed and competently....with one exception, they frequently do not finish what they start. They have a short attention span, need constant stimulation and get bored easily; if an interest (person, place or thing) starts to wane then it’s on to the next!
As the energy of the month mirrors the energy of those born under that sign, May 20- June 20 will be a fast-paced action-packed, career and relationship-focused social time for everyone. This will be a great time to open up to new experiences, travel, relationships, jobs and opportunities. However, you must proceed with caution or you’ll succumb to the dueling dual energy of the twins, starting multiple projects but finishing nothing or behaving in an impetuous, reactive way.
An interesting aspect of Gemini is this unique duality. Other astrological signs have distinct dominant personality traits. Taurus bulls, for example, are usually grounded, practical, slow and steady. However, the Gemini twins offer twice the power - but frequently of opposing energies - positive/negative, patience/intolerance, compassion/judgement, etc. This is not a bad thing in and of itself. In fact, one can use this distinctive trait to grow and improve in all areas - mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. The key to harnessing this power to get the best outcome is to recognize this plurality and use it as a teaching moment. The two sides in your head and heart are equally persuasive - get them to cooperate. In the days ahead make it a point to stop and think before acting or responding. Make conscious decisions based on benefiting others and long-term positivity. Finish what you start. You will have double the power, intellect, insight and creativity to make things happen as well as a cosmic boost from the Lunar Eclipse on May 26th and the Solar Eclipse June 10th to see your worthwhile projects through to completion.
When opposing viewpoints or doubt creep in, remember to always select the action that offers the most continuity and positivity - going with the option that benefits the greater good - kindness, love, loyalty, generosity, peace and happiness. Always choose “WE over ME” .
